Riccardo Mastini

I am a Marie Skłodowska-Curie fellow pursuing a Ph.D. degree in Political Ecology and Ecological Economics at the Institute of Environmental Science and Technology (ICTA) at the Autonomous University of Barcelona.
I advise the campaign Green New Deal for Europe and serve as a member of the Wellbeing Economy Alliance and of the academic collective Research & Degrowth. I serve as an expert reviewer for the IPCC Sixth Assessment Report.
During my career, I have worked as a consultant for the United Nations Environment Programme, the International Fund for Agricultural Development, the World Wide Fund for Nature, The Nature Conservancy, and Friends of the Earth Europe.
I hold a BSc from The University of York (UK) and a MSc from Lund University (Sweden) in Environmental Anthropology.
